Through this training course, CDC staff will be introduced to topics that form the foundation for the conduct of scientific activities. Basic coverage of these topics is considered to be the minimum needed to provide a sound scientific integrity background for staff engaged in scientific activities/research. This training is designed to help strengthen scientific integrity and quality at CDC by raising awareness among the CDC workforce about core scientific integrity and quality concepts, and by introducing the CDC policies, activities, and guiding principles pertaining to the foundations of scientific integrity.
