Zoonoses and One Health Updates (ZOHU) Calls are one-hour monthly calls that provide timely education on zoonotic and infectious diseases, One Health, and related health threats at the animal-human-ecosystem interface. Subject matter experts from multiple sectors present critical zoonoses prevention, detection, and response topics. This unique webinar allows participants to share information and gain knowledge on hot topics related to zoonoses and One Health, build partnerships across human, animal, environmental health and other sectors,create networks, and learn about emerging and important issues in One Health.

The goal of this activity is to increase participants` knowledge and competencies on zoonotic diseases and One Health issues, their effects on human and animal health, and strategies for preventing, detecting, and responding to zoonotic disease threats.

Zoonoses and One Health Updates (ZOHU) Call objectives:
1. Describe 2 key points from the presentation.
2. Describe how a multisectoral One Health approach can be applied to the presentation topic.
3. Identify an implication for animal and human health.
4. Identify a One Health approach strategy for prevention, detection, or response to public health threats.
5. Identify 2 new resources from CDC partners.
