Emergency Partners Information Connection (EPIC) webinars/calls inform communication leaders about emerging public health threats and how to communicate about these threats to protect the health of their constituents.

Children may worry about themselves, their families, and their friends getting ill with COVID-19.  Parents, family members, school staff, and other trusted adults can play an important role in helping children and adolescents make sense of what they hear in a way that is honest, accurate, and minimizes anxiety or fear.  Join the CDC EPIC Team and The National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) on Wednesday, July 22 at 3 p.m. ET. An NCTSN expert will discuss possible ways to support young people during COVID-19, NCTSN's available resources, and how to have conversations with children and youth about what is happening.  Closed captioning will be available.
