“Combating the Multidrug-Resistant Organisms: We’re in this Together” is a webinar series for healthcare providers focused on highly drug-resistant organisms such as Candida auris and carbapenem resistant Enterobacterales (CRE). It will include talks from several CDC speakers and other partners on a variety of topics focused on the identification, prevention, and response to these organisms within healthcare facilities.
This webinar is one in a series on combating the multidrug-resistant organism (MDRO). This talk is focused on the principles and implementation of Enhanced Barrier Precautions (EBP) in skilled nursing facilities to reduce the transmission of MDROs among residents.

Continuing Medical Education for Physician Assistants (PA):

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 1   AAPA Category 1 CME credits. Approval is valid until 05/10/24. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

Continuing Nursing Education for Nurses (CNE):

TCEO does not provide CPE certificates. As a Pharmacist, you must log into the CPE monitor 8 weeks after the activity to obtain CE credit.
