Recognizing the complex, often interlinked hazards affecting the health, safety, and well-being of today’s workforce, the NIOSH Total Worker Health® Program is pleased to present a free webinar series aimed at providing the latest research and case studies related to protecting the safety and health of workers everywhere.
The NIOSH Total Worker Health program is pleased to host a discussion with experts on what safety climate is, its impact on worker health, and practical applications. We will welcome Dr. Emily (Yueng-hsiang) Huang from the Oregon Institute of Occupational Health Sciences and Liz Hill from SAIF Corporation to discuss their own work in the field. First, we will hear from Dr. Huang who will share some background on safety climate and discuss her own Safety Climate Lab and their work. Next, Liz Hill will present on the ways that SAIF is applying the concepts of safety climate and TWH in practice. NIOSH Office of Total Worker Health Director, Dr. Casey Chosewood, will moderate a Q&A session following the presentations.

Continuing Medical Education for Physician Assistants (PA):

In support of improving patient care, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Continuing Education for Veterinarians (AAVSB/RACE):

This program was reviewed and approved by the AAVSB RACE program for 1.2 hours of continuing education.

Participants should be aware that some boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrictions on certain methods of delivery of continuing education. TCEO does not provide CPE certificates. As a Pharmacist, you must log into the CPE monitor 8 weeks after the activity to obtain CE credit.
