The goal of the HealthEdNet Educational Series is to share training best practices, lessons learned, and resources with CDC Health Educators and others at CDC who are interested in training. Information presented in each session will arm attendees with the knowledge to develop quality training for CDC.

 

This session will include an overview of how to work effectively with SMEs to create quality trainings, including managing expectations, developing a relationship with SMEs, and transforming SME ideas into facilitated content. This session will also cover helpful resources that attendees can use to transform scientific content into quality training. Panelists Phyllis Stoll, MPH, MCHES, Erika LeSeane, MPH, and Doris Harris, MSc will share their lessons learned and answer questions about working with SMEs.
