The VaxExpo conference is designed to provide the most up-to-date immunization recommendations for pediatric, adolescent and young adult populations. This includes speakers from the national, regional, and local levels to share their knowledge and experiences related to vaccines and immunization. We hope to create an environment where sharing innovative ideas and best practices to better protect communities from vaccine-preventable diseases are implemented into every day practices.

Continuing Medical Education for Physicians (CME):

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Spokane Regional Health District. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention designates this Live   activity for a maximum of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Continuing Nursing Education for Nurses (CNE):

Continuing Education Contact Hours for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES):

Sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. This program is designated for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES®) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES®) to receive up to  total Category I continuing education contact hours. Maximum advanced level continuing education contact hours available are 0. Continuing Competency credits available are 5.  CDC provider number 98614.

TCEO does not provide CPE certificates. As a Pharmacist, you must log into the CPE monitor 8 weeks after the activity to obtain CE credit.
