This interactive webinar will address varying mechanisms that can be used to create a continuum of care to promote and support breastfeeding in underserved communities. Discussing both internal and external care continuity in hospital and community settings, the webinar will also explore how breastfeeding support and promotion services can be integrated into allied public health programs to create sustainable solutions to the care gap.

Learning Objectives:

1- Define breastfeeding in the community continuity of care
2- Describe the role of internal and external partnerships in addressing continuity of care in traditional and non-traditional settings.
3- Identify at least two strategies public health entities can employ to enable broad access to breastfeeding promotion and support services in underserved communities.
