The course is designed to enhance knowledge competence of the primary health care provider in the assessment and management of ALS. It will provide an overall description of ALS to include its clinical applications, diagnosis, treatment, management, educational and its importance patients’ participation in the Registry.

The training will also enhance the current Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) website, providing a “one stop” for current ALS educational information for primary health care providers, neurologists, those responsible for medical coding, and patients.

Target Audience

Our primary target audience is primary health providers and other health professionals involved in preventing/mitigating exposure to hazardous substances.

Prerequisites

A basic knowledge of medicine or related basics of human health promotion at a professional level.
