Training and Continuing Education Online (TCEO)

Zoonoses & One Health Updates (ZOHU) Calls are one-hour monthly webinars that provide timely education on zoonotic and infectious diseases, One Health, antimicrobial resistance, food safety, vector-borne diseases, recent outbreaks, and related health threats at the human, animal, and environmental interface.

The goal of this activity is to increase participants’ knowledge and competencies on zoonotic diseases and One Health issues, their effects on human, animal, and environmental health, and strategies for preventing, detecting, and responding to zoonotic disease threats.

Learning objectives:

1. Identify an implication for human, animal, and environmental health.
2. Identify a One Health approach strategy for prevention of public health threats.
3. Identify a One Health approach strategy for detection of public health threats.
4. Identify a One Health approach strategy for responding to public health threats.
5. List two ways to improve collaborative practice across the public healthcare team.
